Volunteering Opportunity: 'Careers, Making Good Choices, & Speed Networking'
In 2015 over 2000 people from 45 managing agents and brokers in the Lloyd’s market took part in Lloyd’s Community Programme, and we are keen to encourage the younger generation of insurance professionals to get involved and share their knowledge of how they got into the industry. The Lloyd's Community Programme are offering you the chance to volunteer your time and support young people in Tower Hamlets as part of the Aim2Attain programme. Aim2Attain provides a portfolio of employability and educational activities for pre and post-16 students in Tower Hamlets, designed to encourage young people to consider the choice and opportunities open to them to further their education and training. The Lloyd's Community Programme are holding two sessions at Lloyd’s on the 5th & 12th February, from 09:45-12:00 aimed at a pre-16 cohort. The focus of the workshops will be on “Careers, Making Good Choices, & Speed Networking”. The sessions will be facilitated by staff from Tower Hamlets Education Business Partnership and you will receive briefing ahead of the session. It would be great to see as many NGIN members as possible at the events. If you are interested in signing up to volunteer, then please email Helene Carpentier de Caro at Helene.carpentierdecaro@lloyds.com.
